Browser Technologies
Cookie Policy
This document provides a factual inventory of the browser storage technologies used by the current FintechZoom application. We believe in strict transparency regarding how your browser data is handled.
1. Understanding Browser Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage), which allow websites to store data directly in your browser. These tools are commonly used to remember preferences, keep you logged in, or track your behaviour across the internet for advertising purposes.
2. Current Verified Configuration
Application Configuration Status:
- Tracking Cookies: None Configured
- Advertising Pixels: None Configured
- Consent Banner: Not Required (No non-essential tracking active)
The current FintechZoom application source code intentionally omits non-essential cookies. We do not invent fake cookie inventories. Because there are no named marketing or profiling cookies active, we do not require or display a cookie consent banner.
3. Essential Hosting and Delivery
While the application itself does not set tracking cookies, normal browser and hosting network behaviour is required to request and securely deliver our web pages. Our edge-hosting infrastructure (such as Vercel) may temporarily process technical identifiers (like IP addresses or routing headers) to prevent DDoS attacks, balance server loads, and deliver content quickly. This is essential infrastructure behaviour, not an application-level profiling program.
4. Local and Session Storage
An audit of the current client implementation confirms that we do not use localStorage or sessionStorage to retain visitor preferences, user states, or identifiers. If a future platform feature (such as a dark mode toggle or chart layout preference) requires local storage, its exact purpose, provider, and controls will be documented transparently in this section.
5. Analytics and Third Parties
No client-side analytics vendors (such as Google Analytics) or advertising networks are configured in the current deployment. Additionally, there are no third-party embedded widgets (like social media sharing buttons) that silently place cross-site tracking cookies on your device while you browse FintechZoom.
6. Managing Your Browser Data
Most modern browsers allow you to view, manage, clear, or block cookies and site data through their privacy settings. The location of these controls varies by browser (e.g., Chrome, Safari, Firefox). Because FintechZoom does not rely on application-level cookies for core functionality, blocking cookies globally in your browser should not break your ability to read our market pages or view charts. However, aggressively blocking essential network routing headers via third-party extensions may disrupt page delivery.
7. Policy Updates and Contact
This policy strictly reflects the actual deployed configuration of the website. If the website’s configuration changes—for instance, if we integrate a new analytics tool to understand our audience better—we will update this policy to detail the specific purpose, provider, and duration of any newly introduced technologies.
